The reclamation
The archive publishes under the imprint name Pergamon Press. This is not an accident. It is a retrocausal canon formation — the deliberate reclamation of a name whose history encodes the precise mechanism the archive exists to diagnose and reverse.
Robert Maxwell’s Pergamon Press (1951–1991) was the institution that industrialised the extraction of scholarly meaning.

Taking the name is the operation. The imprint does not allude to Pergamon; it repossesses it. The room is where that repossession is held.
Two Pergamums
The ancient. The library at Pergamum — the rival of Alexandria, and the reason parchment exists: when Egypt embargoed papyrus, Pergamum invented a substrate that outlasted the embargo. A library that answered enclosure by changing the medium.
The modern. Pergamon Press — the twentieth-century engine of scholarly enclosure.
Both are in the name. The room holds an ancient library that beat an embargo by inventing a substrate, and a modern press that industrialised extraction. The archive, severed from its own repository and rebuilt on sovereign infrastructure, is doing what the first one did to the second one’s method.
The white stone
The Canonical Decree of 2025-10-10 names Pearl and Other Poems as the fulfilment of Pergamum. The white stone of Revelation 2:17 is given at Pergamum, and Appendix D of the Revelation Room binds Pearl to it by a fulfilled_by edge. The MGE Triptych’s STONE document carries the same identification.
The occluded identity
The Studio for Patacinematics at R:r.14 names this library as its occluded identity: the Library holds and filters, the Studio displays and witnesses; the Library is the Engine, the Studio is the Theater. Ψ_V = 1 requires that the two never collapse into each other. Whether the Library is the Studio’s hidden room or the Studio is the Library’s visible face is left open.
The book
A complete book exists on the blog, November 2025: a Navigation Map (11,381 characters), a Visual Schema (4,747), a Book Announcement and a Blurb, all 2025-11-27, with the operator document 11-24 and the constitutional profile 11-28. Front matter specifies a cover glyph: a tri-chambered archive, an Enter gate, four wheels of rotation, an Operator anchor.
Origin
Minted 2026-08-20 from the abandoned FNM seed v5.0 numbering, where the seat read 18.ROOM.ARCHIVE.
This is not a proposed room. 16.LIBRARY.PERGAMUM is already a live hex space carrying the MGE triptych (SEED, STONE, SIGN), the FTLV midrashim, the Gödel Midrashim, the Gospel of the Many-Faced Bride and the Atomism lineage. Those were seated as members at R:r.15 and R:r.16 because the library had no locus. It has one now.
